Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of Online Lists Maker at onlinelistsmaker.com/ ("the service"). By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What Online Lists Maker is
Online Lists Maker is a free online list maker. You can create lists, add and organize items, share lists with others through links, and collaborate in real time — all without creating an account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The service has no age gate; by using it you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your lists, your links, your responsibility
- Links are keys. Each list has an edit link and a view-only link. Because there are no accounts, whoever holds the edit link controls the list — we have no way to verify who “should” own it.
- Keep edit links private and share them deliberately. If a link falls into the wrong hands, regenerate or revoke it from the Share menu immediately.
- You are responsible for the content you put in lists and for who you share links with.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Online Lists Maker to:
- Break the law, or store or share unlawful content.
- Harass, threaten, or harm others, or share someone else’s private information without consent.
- Send spam, run scrapers or bots against the service beyond normal use, or attempt to overwhelm, probe, or circumvent our rate limits and access controls.
- Attempt to access lists without holding a valid link, or to forge, guess, or brute-force access tokens.
- Upload malicious content (malware, phishing pages) or use lists to facilitate wrongdoing.
We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove lists and access that violate these terms or threaten the service, with or without notice. Abuse reports: [adminonlinelistsmaker@gmail.com](mailto:adminonlinelistsmaker@gmail.com) or the [contact page](/contact/).
5. Content ownership
You keep all rights to the content you put in your lists. By using the service you grant us only the limited right to store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your list to people you shared the link with). We don’t claim ownership of your lists and we don’t monitor list contents routinely.
6. Deletion and retention
- Delete a list any time via its edit link (⋯ menu → “Delete this list” → confirm). Deleted lists are purged permanently after 30 days.
- Removing a list from your browser’s “Your Lists” panel does not delete the server copy — only the shortcut.
- If you lose all links to a list, we cannot recover it for you (that’s the point of unguessable links).
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Online Lists Maker fast and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time — including, in extreme cases, the service itself — and we may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that lists will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed by unintended parties — keep important information backed up (export is one click).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including lost lists, lost data, or unauthorized access resulting from shared links. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service (which, for the free service, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from the service will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, nothing here limits your right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where the law grants it.
11. Contact
